The Bellevue House guest house is within walking distance from Florence's main train station (FIRENZE SMN), the square of Santa Maria Novella, the celebrated and world-famous Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella (featuring traditionally hand-made soaps, scents, perfumes, bath products, etc.), and the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Maria Novella, the Uffizi, and Santa Croce. The property stands on the last (3rd) floor of an evocative 15th Century Palace (Palazzo Riblet).
[…] If reaching us by train, make sure you get off at Firenze SMN train station and not Firenze Campo di Marte. Our guest house is just a few minutes' walk from the train station: head for the station's lateral exit (not its main entrance), which is now easily recognizable because it looks onto the newly-installed streetcar line. Cross the streetcar traffic lights, walk past the SITA bus station, and then, after crossing yet another set of traffic lights, you will find yourselves on Via della Scala. Keep to the right side of Via della Scala, and walk in the direction of Santa Maria Novella square; you will pass a couple of hotels until reaching, the world-famous Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. If you arrive from the toll road, take the exit Firenze-Impruneta or Firenze-Nord and follow the direction towards the Center - Santa Maria Novella Station (Stazione).

If you arrive by plane from the Airport (Amerigo Vespucci) you can reach us either by taxi (approximately a 15-minute drive) or by shuttle bus direction S.M.Novella Station ( http://www.ataf.net/en/timetables-and-routes/timetables-and-routes/line-volainbus.aspx?idC=180&idO=0&Linea=Volainbus&LN=en-US ) Since February 2019 you can take the new tramway line and we are close by the final station.
